Meet the Team

Dee Gilbert

Ms. Dee started her love for sports at an early age in Sturgis, South Dakota. When she was 13 years old, she started her own business, out of the local high school, coaching gymnastics to children aged four through 12 years of age. She went on to become a four-year “Letter” winner in track, gymnastics and cross-country. In her senior year of high school, she was awarded South Dakota’s Honor Athlete. She was given a scholarship to the University of South Dakota where she went on to get a BA degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Health Education. While in college, she coached the local high school’s Gymnastics team to three consecutive State Championships. In 1986, she made her move to Southern Nevada where she began coaching the “Hot Shots” at the Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts. In 1986, she joined forces with the founder, Carol Baker from Wonderland School of Dance, and began the company that is now known as LEAP4FUN.

Eva Meza

Ms. Eva started her dancing career at the age of five in Kansas City. When she was 10 years of age, she danced in “The Wizard of OZ” at the Kansas City Starlight Theatre. She has also danced in shows such as “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Oklahoma” and “Promises Promises”. After making her move to Las Vegas, she danced in several shows at the Holiday Casino for over 16 years. She has also done choreography for high schools and studios, as well as the Jerry Lewis Telethon and Sign Design Theatre Company. She has taken her love for dance and has become and dance instructor, where she has taught children ranging from the age of two through to professionals.

Kerryann Drace

Ms. Kerryann has been a part of the dance world for over 30 years. In High School, she not only trained as a dancer but was captain of her drill team. She performed in all halftime shows and indoor guard events, as well as multiple community events. She taught in dance studios in South Florida and then went on to get her BA in Dance from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She taught in dance studios in South Florida and then went on to get her BA in Dance from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Deciding to stay and make a life in Las Vegas, She resumed teaching after receiving her degree, and has taught in dance studios, pre-schools, elementary and middle schools, as well as for the Henderson Therapeutic Rec department. She has choreographed numerous pieces for those schools, as well as production numbers involving more than 250 students at one time. Kerryann wanted to be a dance teacher for as long as she can remember and is thrilled to be able to pass on her love of dance to the next generation of kids.

Cyndy Bills

Ms. Cyndy has been working with young children in the Las Vegas and Henderson preschools and elementary schools for over 22 years. Throughout her school years, she trained and performed with the San Francisco Bay area’s finest ballet instructors including Peninsula Ballet Theater and The Main Civic Ballet. Later, her studies took her to New York where she was a scholarship student and apprentice to the Harkness Ballet Company. She later accepted a scholarship to study and perform with the San Francisco Ballet where she became a teacher’s assistant for the elementary level ballet students. All the while performing for many years in several different production shows here in Las Vegas and on tour across the U.S., Ms. Cyndy is always devoted to her love of teaching to the next generation of dancers.
